Climate as Counterfeit Foe

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill … All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

– Alexander King, Bertrand Schneider – founder and secretary, respectively, of the Club of Rome – The First Global Revolution, pp.104-105

The ongoing devastation being experienced and witnessed in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita should give pause to everyone in the United States of America and around the Globe. This is a perfect example of Government ineptitude (actually, Govt was relatively successful because Govt is only concerned with the preservation of it’s power and authority or Continuity of Government, not actually helping the people) and the dis-empowering effects of Bureaucracy upon We The People. With international talk of “Global Warming” and “Peak Oil” and the United Nations plans for Global Water Management / Privatization and Global Depression, we should all take heed of the portents offered in the NOLA debacle and the International Military Industrial Complex’s complicity in Disaster Response as Strategy-of-Tension.
